CPA has organized a series of training opportunities for new CPA trip leaders that are fun and worthwhile just by themselves.
Head south this spring and paddle the Mobjack Marathon series, a series of monthly skill and endurance building group practice paddles in Mobjack Bay and the surrounding waters of beautiful Mathews, Virginia culminating in a complete circumnavigation of Mobjack Bay, a marathon ~26.2 nautical miles paddle.
We have new CPA trip waivers. All participants in CPA sponsored on-water trips and events must sign a legal release form. Trip & event leaders are responsible for collecting signed releases & for returning them to the Club Secretary. Failure to collect, save & forward these waivers may invalidate trip leader coverage under our liability policy.

The CPA has a dedicated space for paddlers seeking or selling gear.
Mix and mingle with fellow paddlers. Talk about kayaking events, paddling trips, gear, and much, much more.
