For those who have friends or relatives (or are themselves) interested in sea kayaking – registration for the Chesapeake Paddlers Association classroom workshop – SK101 – Introduction to Sea Kayaking, Preparing for the Paddling Season Workshop is open at https://sk101_2023.eventbee.com. This workshop is on Kent Island in Maryland. Even experienced Paddlers will learn something. Thanks to Laurie Collins and the rest of the dedicated volunteer team for organizing and hosting.
Pre-registration is also available for CPA’s on water Introduction to Sea Kayaking training weekend (April 28-30th, on Lake Anna in Mineral, VA). Sk102 offers on-water skills classes covering wet exits, strokes & rescues for kayakers and so much more. Come meet your fellow paddlers and learn the fundamentals of paddling safely. SK102 is aimed at novice and intermediate paddlers, and those who attend SK101 will have priority for acceptance. Register for SK102 at : sk102.eventbrite.com
