Great place to stay,motel right on a channel.A mile paddle to San Carlos Bay,and a 2 mile paddle across, to Sanibel Island, and Ding Darling Wildlife refuge/ access the Great Calusa Blue Way.The managers Ellie and George, couldn't be nicer,and more accommodating, the price is more then right.There are manatees outside your door several dolphin pods, in the bay.I cant believe,there aren't more paddlers down there.Check it out!  Entered by Joe Harrigan/joeharrigan@comcast.net in Jan 2012
