Please volunteer to help with the kayak support for the swim portion of the triathlon- there is over 2000 ladies swimming the first leg of the ladies- only Triathlon - held annuallly on Centennial lake in Centennial Park - Howard County.    We meet up at o dark 5 hundred to avoid the mass entry into the single entrance on MD 108  west   (second traffic light west  from  US 29).  There will be 10=13 waves of swimmers on the short course counterclockwise around the lake.  We are typically finished with our task before 11 am - and can come ashore to grab a bite to eat - and head out.

Please call or email either Robert Golden or Sue Stevens if you can volunteer at this event.  We can provide   driving instructions to  help avoid the traffic backups entering the park.  We sure can use for your help as alot of these swimmers are first time triathloners in the open water.  Event T-shirts and a goodie bag  are available for all who can assist too.

For the safety of the group as a whole, trip participants must agree to abide by club policies and rules and to follow instructions of the trip leader. Potential paddlers will be pre-screened for skills and equipment.
