Paddle around Wye Island in one leisurely day. [Rescheduled from 7/17]

(Advanced Beginner) This event is for those who have been on longer trips (up to 10 miles, full day outings), have some experience with varying conditions such as winds and waves and have good rescue and group-paddling skills.

This event is sponsored by the CPA. A Waiver will be required for all on water participation.12.5-mile trip around Wye Island, plus forays up some of its more interesting creeks and a mid-way stop for lunch. Will use the launch on Wye Landing Road. [Postponed from July 17 due to organizer's scheduling conflicts.]
For the safety of the group as a whole, trip participants must agree to abide by club policies and rules and to follow instructions of the trip leader. Potential paddlers will be pre-screened for skills and equipment.
