PIRATES OF SUGARLOAF RILEY’S LOCK ROAD CLEANUP
October 28 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
COME JOIN THE PIRATES OF SUGARLOAF FOR OUR SECOND ANNUAL MARCELINO BERNARDO BIRTHDAY, RILEY’S LOCK ROAD CLEAN UP.
October 27 is Marcelino Bernardo’s birthday. In memory of him we will be doing a clean up of “his” road on Sunday October 28 (changed due to inclement weather on Saturday). We plan to start at 9:30 am. Come when you can. If we get enough folks willing to pick up via canoe or kayak we will venture out on the water to clean up what we can reach from the log jam at the aqueduct.
Afterwards there will be a pot luck at Rose Bernardo’s home in Germantown. Don’t worry, there will be sufficient food if you are unable to bring anything. Email me for directions and questions: ritakayaker at gmail dot com.
Hope to see you there! Please respond to this meet up if you are planning to attend.
